Card Bosses for OHT Mats Empty Card Bosses for OHT Mats

Got this info from a friend hope it helps

To summon a card boss, you need to get their card, there's a total of 8 cards per boss, to make each card you need 2 mystical tome fragments, so 16 mystical tome fragments in total, you make them from the NPC in Old Heaven's Tear next to the forges. After you get all cards, you talk to the NPC again to combine them into one card. After that you go to where the boss is located and summon the boss via Summonobot XL. The mats the boss drops are listed on the first post, you need those mats to make OHT armors and ornaments from the forges in OHT. Mat drops are random but mostly will drop between 10-20 mats per boss, dexterity mats seem to be the rarest, dropping from 2-7 mats. In order for the summonobot to be there in certain FBs, you have to do the FB unwined.

Forgot to mention if you wine the instance you cannot do the card boss.
also you must be lvl 90 to get the combined card.
you can only summon a card boss once per run. meaning 1 of each boss.

Card Bosses for OHT Mats Empty Additional info on card bosses

Post  SirLucian Tue Jun 22, 2010 1:21 am

Additional information about the card bosses i got from a friend, hope this helps

Delta

1) Apodiea
2) Gluttonfowl

Both are easy kills, couple aoe's that deal status inflictions, one seal, one poison. Both are bm/barb/herc tankable, and straightforward.

Fb79

1) Duke Raptorbone (next to stygean) - Bm/Barb tankable, need 1-2 clerics depending on tanks lvl. Does curse to tank, annoying but not that difficult
2) Foul Sandsadder - (right at the back end, by linus/brigand), very simple boss, herc/barb/bm tankable. Standard boss procedure.

Fb89 (brim)

1) Craggabro (next to first boss) simple, regular boss procedure, herc/bm/barb tankable.
2) Panoploconis (center of brim) Difficult boss, only bm or barb tankable, high hp needed. Does aoe hp debuff for around 40% max hp give or take. 1 cleric can suffice, but 2 is good for backup purifying tank.

Fb89 (eden)

1) Stone Brain (next to first boss) Fairly easy, herc/bm/barb tankable, aoe stun of medium range, cleric max is easily away from it. Occasional earth d.o.t
2) Abyss Rider (center of eden) Easy, general boss procedure, bm/barb/herc tankable.

Fb99 (abaddon)

1) Arthopotaux (near first boss, after big mushroom tower) slightly tricky, aoe posion and random mana burn on squad member, herc/bm/barb tankable. if veno solo's, must be very awake of the mana burn, and poison can kill herc without spam pet heal.

Fb99 (torment)

1) Plasmastorm shocker (next to infernal spikewing AE lookalike) Moderate, Bm/barb tankable, deals seal to target dealing most dmg, so barb tank is easier. Lightning aoe if rang tanked, avoid this at all costs.

TT 3-3

1) Crystal Terror (behind first boss) HARD, hardest of all 16 imo. Bm and barb tankable, but heavily suggest barb only, unless bm has 11k hp plus, i personally hate trying tank this thing. Starts with Stun and curse on tank, and spams if range tanked. After 50% hp, self buffs defense and attack, needs to be purged asap. Will buff party like 3 minute boss. Fast killing is your friend here.
2) Bewitched Doll (just before giant beast) Max range is your friend. Bm/Barb tankable, deals aoe long range sleep, and dmg. Cleric MUST be max range to heal tank. All classes max range will avoid damage, except bm and barb. 2nd melee will be slept alot, so settle down to watch.
3) Thunderbite (after emperor, on way to minister) Fairly simple, aoe lightning atatck, but not that powerful, will cause a status efect, that isnt worth noting (mainly because i forgot, but didn't cause any trouble). Never attempted herc tank, but bm and barb can easy.

Lunar

1) Jaden Rutiodon (Humorum valley) Fairly simple water boss, looks like DT boss, but not hard, general boss strategy required.
2) Deep Strangler (Smythii valley) Another simple water boss, same strategy applies.
3) Archelon (Imbrium valley) tbh, i remeber very little of this boss, as only seen it once. From what i remember, it wasnt that hard to kill, assume general stategy works.

Lunar Bots are extremely hard to get to, since must be done in FULL squad mode, no neo-deity, and the valley's you visit, are random.

Hammerfall

The Ultimate summonbot.........or so you thought.
What a dissapointment, i expected some huge, extremely powerful boss, almost harpy like, but instead found a smaall human-like creature, with no threat whatsoever. If you reach this guy, tank + 1 cleric, or veno can solo, ridiculously easy for the ultimate summonboss.

For all bots, you will require a total of 16 tome frags to make each card, then when all 16, make both hammerfall documents, after defeating hammerfall, you will get card hero token. This becomes a random lvl 100 gold oht equip (not weapon) with random stats.
