Twilight Temple Guide Empty Twilight Temple Guide

Post  thug Wed Jun 23, 2010 5:18 pm

this is the link to the Twilight Temple, its organized in a table so pretty simple to follow
http://vanaheim.the-aria.com/pw/tt/

This is not my info, it is from a guide here: http://pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=168932
TT is as follows:
1-1 | 1-2 | 1-3

2-1 | 2-2 | 2-3

3-1 | 3-2 | 3-3

1-1 is TT60
1-2 and 2-1 is TT70
1-3 and 2-2 is TT80
2-3 and 3-1 is TT90
3-2 and 3-3 it TT99+

now for each TT and wat there bosses are:
TT1-1

Chintien: Chronol
Physical Attack: 1228 - 3684
Magic Attack: 1842 - 5525
HP: 811.278

Always will spawn, need to kill him to open the gates for rest of dungeon. He is very easy and will use Earth Spells to attack you.

Lord of Percussion: Chronol
Physical Attack: 1588 - 4763
Magic Attack: 2381 - 7144
HP: 695.393

Always will spawn too. But this guy on the other hand, is different, on squad mode he will cast a Physical Damage Area of Effect spell every 10 seconds once his HP goes bellow 50% (around the "PER" of his name), and the range is so wide that you cant just heal from far. Usually the squads need to use blue bubble on this guy (to cut damage by half), or you are doomed to kill half the squad or more. Note aswell that the damage will start low, but the max damage will increase as his HP goes down, doing very high hits when he is about to die.
Besides that AoE attack, his only other attack is a Metal spell that he will cast constantly.
Note, on 1-1 (chronol), he will spawn on the middle of the dungeon, and the gate behind him will be closed.

Soulbanisher: Chronol
Physical Attack: 1249 - 3747
Magic Attack: 1873 - 5620
HP: 1.246.067

Only spawns on "HIGH" boss spawn, he will be at the start of the dungeon, unlike his proper room (1-2 and 1-3 spawn), will do no AoE attacks and is very easy, but has a lot of HP.
You will only see this boss when doing the Last Hope (final part of Wraith Ploy, lv70+ quest to travel ), he will be blocking your way to Vipenalt, but if you are sneaky, you can pass through him unnoticed.
Special Note: This boss will drop no materials.

[color=blue]Dimentora: Chronol
Doesnt spawn on this mode. Or rather saying, the gate is closed, but he probably doesnt even exist.

Vipenalt: Chronol
Physical Attack: 1249 - 3747
Magic Attack: 1873 - 5620
HP: 1.246.067

Only spawns on "HIGH" boss spawn. He will be on the room called as "Drum Room", east side of dungeon, just at the start. He isnt hard at all, hits very low but has a LOT of HP, so will take a while killing. You will need to kill him to complete the Last Hope quest.
Special Note: This boss will drop no materials.

TT1-2
Chintien: Dimensic
Physical Attack: 1398 - 4194
Magic Attack: 2097 - 6290
HP: 1.130.684

Always will spawn, need to kill him to open the gates for rest of dungeon. He is very easy and will use Earth Spells to attack you.

Lord of Percussion: Dimensic
Physical Attack: 2162 - 6484
Magic Attack: 3242 - 9725
HP: 857.511

Always will spawn too. Check the info on how to beat Chronol for his attacks. Only difference here is that he is on the so called "Drum Room", which is from East side of dungeon, opposite direction of "Chintien Room".
Just to remind, Physical AoE past 50% HP, be careful.

Soulbanisher: Dimensic
Physical Attack: 2129 - 6387
Magic Attack: 3193 - 9580
HP: 1.259.749

Only spawns on "HIGH" boss spawn. Similar to Lord of Percussion, he will cast a Physical Damage Area of Effect spell every 10 seconds once his HP goes bellow 50% (around the "BAN" of his name), and the range is so wide that you cant just heal from far. His attack is a lot stronger though, and not many can survive his last attacks, so Blue Bubble is a must here, the damage will start low, but the max damage will increase as his HP goes down, doing very high hits when he is about to die.
Besides that AoE attack, his only other attack is a Fire spell that he will cast constantly. I ADVISE you get a cleric with over 3k HP to bubble if you plan on killing this guy.
His room is just WEST from the first corridor with rolling balls (before the balls), past middle of dungeon.

Dimentora: Dimensic
Physical Attack: 1609 - 4826
Magic Attack: 2413 - 7238
HP: 2.478.280

Always will spawn too. First off, this guy has a LOT of HP, way more than any other bosses on this dungeon level, so be prepared for a long battle (10-20 minutes depending on your squad) and grab your mana pots/charms with you (for clerics and DDs).
This guy spawns on the end of the dungeon, on a big room i call as "Dimentora Arena", its a huge place just past all corridors with rolling balls. It has a few blue glass castles that disapear after a while fighting, do dont stand on top of them or you will be teleported to a random spot of the dungeon. Also, dont enter the glass area while it vanished, because it will appear back and you will get stuck inside.
Trick here is lure him away from the middle of room, into a corner, get the barb or herc to do this (anyone with high physical def works), so you can fight him in peace. Why? Because at 80% HP he will call for the "DaVinci" and 4 big guys will spawn on middle of room and roam there until the end of the battle.
BTW these DaVinci only give 1 exp and 1 sp and 0 drops, they are worthless to kill.
Be extra careful when he mentions "007", will happen if the battle lasts over 10 minutes, his "aggro" will reset and if the DDs dont stop attacking, he will throw his AoE against the group.
About his AoE, it isnt a big deal, short range physical AoE centered on his target (around 10-15m), stay away from tanker and you wont get scratched from this fight. A single cleric can keep the tanker healed very well, no need for bubble, but you will need a lot of mana.
There is a trick to luring this boss and it is by using the teleport, aggro the boss and run straight into the teleport, the tank should be ready for the boss to run over and then tank. it is alot easier and safer this way than luring the boss manually, which can cause alot of deaths if not experienced at it
After you kill him, you can use the portal on the middle the room to get outside the Arena, you will be warped to near the corridor with the rolling balls. Keep going anti-clock wise and go north, until you reach "Snake Room" and kill the next boss.

Vipenalt: Dimensic
Physical Attack: 953 - 2858
Magic Attack: 1429 - 4287
HP: 1.303.861

Only spawns on "HIGH" boss spawn. If you followed my info above and got to this boss after killing Dimentora (or skipped him, but you are dumb), you will see this big green snake that looks like Empirean Slither from Tai Chi Shore.
All he does is cast Wood damage spells every few seconds, but any tanker can handle this. Be warned that past 50% HP, a few "clapping hands" will show EVERYWHERE inside his room, DO NOT RUN, they will not explode if you dont move (someone confirm me the condition of the explosions please). If you dont move, the hands wont explode, and only "bad side" of this is that the cleric mana regeneration will be cut to 25%, forcing him to spend more mana to keep healing.
Ok as for this boss, jus have the tank lure out the boss from the room and tank it outside on the path that way you wont have to worry about the hands killing you and not moving

TT1-3
Chintien: Substancia
Physical Attack 1571 - 4712
Magic Attack 2356 - 7067
HP 1.497.335

Always will spawn, need to kill him to open the gates for rest of dungeon. He is very easy and will use Earth Spells to attack you.

Lord of Percussion: Substancia
Physical Attack: 3229 - 9685
Magic Attack: 4842 - 14527
HP: 1.036.873

Always will spawn too. Check the info on how to beat Chronol/Substancia for his attacks. He is on the so called "Drum Room", which is from East side of dungeon, opposite direction of "Chintien Room".
Just to remind, Physical AoE past 50% HP, be careful. A lot stronger than previous one, as expected.

Soulbanisher: Substancia
Physical Attack: 3185 - 9554
Magic Attack: 4777 - 14330
HP: 1.526.201

Only spawns on "HIGH" boss spawn. Check the info on how to beat Substancia for his attacks.
You will need a even better cleric than before on this guy, as his physical attack is insane. Not many people do this guy even at lvs 80-89. His magic attack also will hit the barbarian charm a lot, so be prepared, dont go with a barbarian without charm there or you risk getting him killed on 2 shots (unless you bubble since the start of battle).
Just to remind, Physical AoE past 50% HP, be careful.
His room is just WEST from the first corridor with rolling balls, past middle of dungeon, same as Substancia.

Shooting Aur: Substancia (AKA Dimentora)
Physical Attack: 2045 - 6135
Magic Attack: 3067 - 9202
HP: 3.321.735

Only spawns on "HIGH" boss spawn. Again, a heck of a lot of HP, but is no different than Dimensic version, just near 50% more hp, slighly stronger attacks, no big deal.
Just to remind, short range physical AoE.

Vipenalt: Substancia
Physical Attack: 2018 - 6053
Magic Attack: 3026 - 9079
HP: 1.944.137

Only spawns on "HIGH" boss spawn. Again, will only attack with Wood element attacks, and past 50% HP the "clapping hands" will show up (DONT MOVE!), but besides that, his magic attack got a lot harder (double the damage than before) and might kill your tanker faster than you can heal. Either get better gear/tanker or use a secondary cleric to blue bubble the whole fight. But mostly he wont be a problem.
Again lure him out of the room and onto the path and jus kill him there to make it easier

TT2-1
Fataliqua: Substancia
Physical Attack: 2291 - 6872
Magic Attack: 3436 - 10308
HP: 1.610.118

This is the first boss and always will spawn (like chintien), you also need to kill him to open the gate and progress on the dungeon. He has no AoE on squad mode.

General Feng: Substancia
Physical Attack: 1571 - 4712
Magic Attack: 2356 - 7067
HP: 2.246.002

Always will spawn. He has nothing special, just high HP and a magic AoE (starts at 80% i think? will confirm soon) that does always the same constant Water damage (its more an annoyance than an issue). Despite his Magic Attack value, the AoE will do like 300-500 damage (with 70% water resistance), so isnt anything to be worried about. He will also cast a AoE debuff that lowers your max HP.
PS: Im guessing the AoE damage is somewhat always his minimum magic attack, but numbers are actually even lower than that.

General Wurlord: Substancia
Physical Attack: 3098 - 9293
Magic Attack: 4646 - 13939
HP: 550.767

Always will spawn. Alright, THIS guy is the plain definition of "PAIN IN THE ASS", nothing else can describe him. Basically he has many lives, and have clones of him to make it even more annoying, forcing you to have a venomancer on your squad to pull the real one.
Every time he dies, 1-2 more copies will show near his spawn area to make it more confusing (and more impossible if you dont have a veno with you, seriously, dont even try). Note that he has a very low HP, but that is just to make up that you have to kill him FOUR TIMES.
And his magic attack is pretty high (Fire damage), so blue bubble is often necessary (think about the huge mana waste of that).
His clones are a lot weaker, doing about 1/5 of his damage, but have a lot of hp too and can be annoying when you have 5 of them at once, so you better get a veno to pull the real one from the crowd. The real one is the one that moves, all others are static.
PS: If you are killing this guy for his drops, you should consider doing it on single mode instead. Its just a big waste of time and mana for your clerics.

Cosmoforce: Substancia
Physical Attack: 2324 - 6970
Magic Attack: 3485 - 10454 (useless here, hes only melee)
HP: 2.447.853

Only spawns on "HIGH" boss spawn. The giant ape is on the second area of the dungeon (same as all bosses of this mode), careful when engaging on him because there are 2 adalwolf patrols that walk behind him, its wiser you pull and kill those 2 first.
There is no secret for this guy, he is pure melee physical attacks (he hits hard though).

Soulripper: Substancia
Physical Attack: 1162 - 3485
Magic Attack: 1742 - 5227
HP: 1.223.927

Only spawns on "HIGH" boss spawn. This guy is also very easy, he will only cast Metal damage spells, but no AoE or anything special. He actually hits weaker than 1-X bosses.

TT2-2
Fataliqua: Naught
Physical Attack: 2553 - 7658
Magic Attack: 3829 - 11486
HP: 2.807.240

Always will spawn. Check the info on how to beat Substancia for his attacks.
He has no AoE on squad mode. His attacks are just a little stronger now.

General Feng: Naught
Physical Attack: 2183 - 6547
Magic Attack: 3273 - 9820
HP: 2.926.556

Always will spawn. Check the info on how to beat Substancia for his attacks.
AoE will start at 85% hp and go on doing same damage until he is dead (around 1k damage, physical now). Same for his hp debuff, which reduces more over time, but will never go past -25% hp.

General Wurlord: Naught
Physical Attack: 3879 - 11635
Magic Attack: 5817 - 17452
HP: 718.792

Always will spawn. Check the info on how to beat Substancia for his attacks.
Same thing, but now he hits even harder. Strong direct fire spells on his target, real one is the one that walks.

Cosmoforce: Naught
Physical Attack: 2586 - 7757
Magic Attack: 3878 - 11635
HP: 2.875.167

Only spawns on "HIGH" boss spawn. Check the info on how to beat Substancia for his attacks.
His physical attack hits VERY high, so you robe users dont want to risk getting hit by him, will be instant death. Now he casts a self-buff that pretty much looks like he is sparking all the time, it will increase his attack and resistances (1400 damage got reduced to 1200). It can be dispelled but he recasts it every 10 seconds, so isnt really useful.

Soulripper: Naught
Physical Attack: 1293 - 3879
Magic Attack: 1939 - 5817
HP: 2.156.376

Only spawns on "HIGH" boss spawn. Check the info on how to beat Substancia for his attacks.
This guy is tricky, he will spawn after you talk to a pillar, first 6 Elite Tigaeros will spawn and patrol around the room, about 5 minutes later the boss will show up and you can pull him (or kill all mobs first). Will attach a screenshot with one position you can stay before talking to the pillar (and kill the boss) that monsters wont bother you, just pay attention on minimap:
https://2img.net/h/i163.photobucket.com/albums/t...0610-18-05.jpg
Besides that trick, he just hits a little harder than Substancia version.

Astralwalker: Naught
Physical Attack: 1768 - 5304
Magic Attack: 2652 - 7955
HP: 4.000.000

Only spawns on "HIGH" boss spawn. This guy only spawns on Naught and Null, and he is another tricky boss.
After you kill Soulripper, the next portal will warp you back to Fataliqua room, and a blue bridge will show up leading to the plataform at the middle. The boss himself doesnt hit very hard, but he will spawn minions as he is dying.
At 85% hp he will spawn a Fire minion (called Astralwalker: Fire).
at 60% hp he will spawn a Wood and Metal minion (Toxin and Lightning).
At 30% hp he will spawn a Earth, Water and Physical minion (Larva, Glacier and Naught).
Tip here is kill those minions before the boss hp goes too low, get a secondary tanker to hold on the boss while the squad get rid of those minions, or they will become a huge problem.
Note: Each minion will explode on a physical AoE when they die, be careful and prepare for that (clerics cast plume shell if you are squishy).

TT2-3
Fataliqua: Null
Physical Attack: 3423 - 10269
Magic Attack: 5134 - 15403
HP: 3.524.119

Always will spawn. Check the info on how to beat Substancia/Naught for his attacks.
Need info about his attacks.

Ok now this bit is my own

General Feng: Null
Physical Attack: 3004 - 9011
Magic Attack: 4505 - 13516
HP: 4.000.000

Ok feng is the same as in 2-2 but hits a lil harder, at about 80% hp he says: I will shed my blood for my god, this is when his aoe starts, a bb is necessary or max lvl aoe heal, this boss also continuously reduces the max hp of everyone in his aoe, no use in purifying members as he will jus do it again.

General Wurlord: Null
Physical Attack: 4948 - 14844
Magic Attack: 5937 - 17812
HP: 895.422

yay wurlord now. OK this guy is a big pain even for high lvls, the best option is 2 clerics, 1 uses bb and the other IHs tank, this guy is pretty much impossible to be tanked by a herc, so dont try it Razz. you need to kill this boss 4 times to get any drops, this boss needs constant canceling by the barb, if not his mag attack(orange thingy at his feet when hes using it) can 1 hit the barb and everyone else in squad. be careful after you kill all 4, the other wurlords that are static do not disappear and are still there next to the teleport, have the tank safely move them to the right side and everyone run on the left side past them quietly, or simply holy path past him

Cosmoforce: Null
Physical Attack: 3959 - 11875
Magic Attack: 4750 - 14250
HP: 4.000.000

mmmmmm ape. ok this guy is also a big pain like wurlord, also for this boss you need 2 clerics, 1 BB and 1 IH same as wurlord, this boss likes to buff himself every 20seconds = a veno will need to purge him wen ever she can, max purge is recommended for this boss otherwise it can be very difficult as he can hit very hard wen buffed. this boss is pure physical melee which means for him to hit you he needs to be close, if the tank dies, run into the teleport and then simply come back to him. this boss should also be constantly debuffed by barb and bm skills(skills which reduce attack and attack lvl) as this will help alot for the tank

Soulripper: Null
Physical Attack: 1980 - 5938
Magic Attack: 2969 - 8906
HP: 3.223.518

this boss is pretty easy and simple to kill, there is one problem though and thats what happens in the room, this boss needs to be summoned by the leader of the squad by talkin to pillar (ensure that all members are at the corner of the room in the small box to the left before summoning). once the boss has been summoned, mini-bosses will spawn in the room and constantly move around, after 5-10mins the boss will spawn and run around the room, he should then be lured into the corner so that wen attackin the boss none of the mini-bosses are aggrod, this boss can hit phys and mag ranged so be careful wen luring him

Astralwalker: Null
Physical Attack: 2532 - 7596
Magic Attack: 3798 - 11394
HP: 5.000.000

this is the same as in 2-2 he can not be moved or lured, once aggrod he will not move from that spot. this boss lure mobs at 85% hp, 60% hp and 30% hp, if any mobs are aggrod then have the squad kill them 1 by 1 and back to concentrating on boss. every time this boss spawns the mobs the aggro resets, this means that the tank has to ensure that they are not distracted by the mobs, otherwise the clerics and DDs could get aggro and die very fast.

Ancient Evil: Lethal Vegeance
Physical Attack: 4558 - 13673
Magic Attack: 5469 - 16407
HP: 4.200.000

ahhh this guy is my favourite, ive only done him once so dont know alot about him. i know he has an aoe which pretty much kills every1 with under 5k hp. he also spawns 3 adds, 1 melee, 1 mag ranged and another(no clue on wat its special is). kill all 3 adds before taking down the boss otherwise it will be a massive pain. the boss has random aggro and can 1hit the DDs and clerics. clerics are recommended to spam plume shell and everyone to use anything to survive the 1 hit (bramble hood, absolute domain, immune to damage orbs, tree, anything else)

TT3-1

Coredash
This boss is found inside a small room with 4-5 mobs around him, kill 2 of the mobs at the entrance of the room (in front of the door) after that have a tank lure the boss out of the rooms and into the main room outside, this boss has a short range phys aoe which is about 20metres, the entrance to this boss's room will be locked as soon as the boss is dead which means you have to go all the way around through more mobs if u kill the boss inside.

Dark Colluseast
This boss is simple and easy to kill, he has a phys attack and from time to time he has a mag chan attack. on this boss and the next make sure that boss is on the right side an archer or long range DDer can then attack Djinscream in the middle room for buffs and refilled chi to max every time hes attacked to speed up the killing of this boss. the buffs also affect pets so they also hit harder.

Illusion Nemen
This boss is the same as Colluseast has a phys attack no aoes, and from time to time a mag chan attack. same as before, lure the boss to the left side this time and again attack Djinscream in the middle room for buffs and refilled chi to max each time hes attacked to speed things up.

Djinscream
This boss is the worst in this whole TT, he has a special attack which 1hits every class no matter what hp or defense, you have 3minutes to kill this boss from when he is first aggrod, once aggrod he will talk at 1min, 2min and 3min(he will now say something like: forgive me the curse has taken over me). this boss hits really weak for the first 3mins, if anyone has aggro they should use hp pots and all out DD to ensure the boss dies within 3mins, the best option for this boss is to have an archer ST it to make sure it dies in time and have at least 4 people in squad to DD.

Deathflow
This boss is inside the room on the end of the hall, close to the room where Colluseast is in. this boss is simple and easy to kill as well, the boss is inside with mobs circling the room, the door to this room is locked once the boss is dead and everyone inside has to detour the long way around to get back out. simply lure the boss outside of the room so that you arent locked inside

Steelation
Simple and easy boss jus like Nemen and Colluseast, has main phys melee attack and a chan mag attack from time to time. this boss is in a room full of mobs, either kill all the mobs and then take down the boss or lure out the boss from the room inside the first and tank it there. the first room to this boss is on the top floor and outside of the room pets are not able to go up there which means that the mobs inside this room have to be tanked without a pet.

Edited On: Wed Jun 23, 2010 (Added red colour for new TT and blue colour for new boss also added info on 3-1)

Post  Sylredrae Sat Jul 31, 2010 3:21 am

Nice work thug ^^

I'd like to add to this though.

It is perfectly possible for one cleric to solo heal TT2-3 with an excellent barb. I have done so with Big a couple of times, once with AE but that was... pretty darned scary. I still agree that two cleric is the best option for TT2-3 though, especially if they are not too experienced with AE.

For TT1-1, I'd like to note that with a higher lvl squad, BB is not needed for Percussion. Even for his arcanes his aoe won't hit so hard and it's easy to heal the damage.

For TT1-3, though, a note on Soul Banisher. His physical aoe, I completely agree, hits VERY hard when he's just about to die. Beating him without barb buffs (and sometimes with them) amounts to two things - luck (he will crit sometimes on his aoes, and it will hurt) and just how fast you can kill him. The trick to surviving him is to kill him as fast as possible so that he has less chances to crit and kill the cleric and squishies. To help give an idea on the amount of hp needed to survive TT1-3 Soulbanisher, I can and have survived his aoe at 4.1k hp (no barb buffs since there was no barb in squad). Not necessarily must, as I have died because he critted just before we could kill him. I managed to survive due to potting like nuts to keep my health up and using extreme poison whenever possible to speed up the killing.

For TT2-3, a note on AE. When squishies get too close and get caught in the aoe, it will mostly be instant death. I have over 5k hp buffed and I still got one shotted by his aoe.

For TT3-1, though... a few notes on a couple of bosses.

Djinnscream. He is a very chatty boss... He won't just talk at 3 min, 2 min and 1 min, he will talk about 15 secs or so before time is up... well... I haven't really counted, but he WILL talk just before he one shots everyone. In that case, either finish him off fast or have one cleric town portal to save his/her exp before everyone dies. I have seen him do this admittedly. Once I town portaled, the other I finished off the boss at the cost of my own life. Ouch indeed...

Also, while it is indeed perfectly possible to do Djinnscream with 4 people, I have actually managed it with a 3 person squad. It was fairly close, but we succeeded with no deaths. Squad was made of a herc veno, a sin and me, all 90+ and sparking like nuts. Considering that the veno was fully DDing and using ironwood scarab, I was keeping the elemental seal on the boss at all times and spamming extreme poison whenever possible. Boss went down suprisingly fast with the debuffs we were stacking on it.

Deathflow. There is another reason why you don't want to fight Deathflow in its room. This video shows why: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZKKtpDjur8&feature=related. The people in the squad shown find out the hard way when they realize how their archer died...

Ah, and one more thing. in TT3-1 and TT3-2 (dunno about TT3-3), you will get a quest to kill a certain number of mobs before taking down the bosses. Make sure to always kill enough mobs to satisfy it, otherwise the bosses WILL aoe very very badly (sadly, it's not short range). I learned that the hard way when one of the squads I was invited in made the decision to skip mobs so that they could make the run go faster (similar to what is done in TT2-2 and TT2-3). It backfired horribly on us, even after I tried to warn them. Coredash, which is usually an easy boss, will quickly turn into a nightmare if you don't kill enough mobs. His aoe came hard and fast, non-stop! A real nightmare... I would like to humbly say this so people will not repeat their mistake.
